Not so much of a “Minion” as she is a family, member Wendy-O is one chick you do not want to tick off.
Wendy-O Koopa doesn’t quite have the longevity as the other species of Koopa, but she is no where near lacking in popularity. As far as we know, Wendy-O is the only daughter as well as the female (king)Koopa of Bowser’s family.
Among Mario fans, there is much debate over a few things concerning Wendy-O. First off, is she Bowser’s daughter, or his niece? Nintendo flip flops on this point. When Wendy-O first appeared in Super Mario Bros.3 and Super Mario World, she was introduced to the player as one of Bowser’s seven children. After the appearance of Bowser Jr in Super Mario Sunshine, and fans started to ask questions, Nintendo flipped its position saying that all the Koopalings, Wendy-O, included were never Bowser’s children, but rather his nephews and niece.
I personally like to stick the daughter story as it’s somehow more believable.
Secondly: Her name. Officially, the Character’s name is Wendy-O Koopa, however when the Adventure of Super Mario Bros. 3, and Super Mario World, cartoons aired in the U.S, the Koopalings names were changed to avoid costly licensing fees for use of the names. Wendy-O became “Kootie-Pie” Oddly enough, this name fits rather well.
But regardless of her name, or family position, there are a few things that we do know for sure. She is one bad motha’! Wendy-O is the fourth oldest Koopaling out of the original seven and one of the only one to wear shoes.
Though it’s not her shoes that one has to worry about, a tricky Koopa, in “Super Mario World,” and “Mario and Luigi: Superstar Saga” she likes to hide out in pipes, sometimes sending up dolls as decoys so that she can attack safely, in Super Mario Bros. 3 She would much rather toss candy cane stripped rings at you and blast you with a magic wand. Wendy-O’s graphical style has pretty much remained consistent through out Nintendo’s designs, really only changing radically for the cartoons. I went with Nintendo’s style because she just looks awesome that way.

Actually, she is the fifth oldest Koopaling, not fourth. The oldest to youngest are: Ludwig, Lemmy, Roy, Iggy (fourth oldest), Wendy, Morton, and Larry. (Bowser Jr. new youngest)
